തിരുവനന്തപുരം: ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസ് മെഡല്‍ ജേതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് മുന്‍കൂറായി പാരിതോഷികം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍. സ്വര്‍ണമെഡല്‍ നേടുന്ന താരത്തിന് 50 ലക്ഷം രൂപയും, വെള്ളി മെഡലിന് 30 ലക്ഷം രൂപയും, വെങ്കലം തേടുന്ന താരത്തിന് 20 ലക്ഷം രൂപയും നല്‍കുമെന്ന് കായിക മന്ത്രി ഒ.ജെ. ജനീഷ് അറിയിച്ചു.

ഏഷ്യന്‍ ഗെയിംസില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന 30 മലയാളി കായിക താരങ്ങൾക്കും മുന്‍കൂറായി ഒരു ലക്ഷം രൂപ വീതം നല്‍കും. വിജയികളുടെ പരിശീലകര്‍ക്ക് രണ്ട് മുതല്‍ അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷം വരെയാണ് പാരിതോഷികം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

ഒരു മത്സരാര്‍ഥിയെ വിലക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് ഓരോ അസോസിയേഷനും നൂറ് തവണ ആലോചിക്കണമെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ദേശീയ തലത്തില്‍ കേരളം കായികമേഖലയില്‍ വളരെ താഴേക്കുപോയിയെന്ന് മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

കേരളം തിരികെ വരണം. കായിക സംഘടനകള്‍ പുതിയ ശീലത്തിലേക്ക് വരണം. കായിക അസോസിയേഷനുകള്‍ പോരായ്മകള്‍ നികത്തി മുന്നോട്ടുപോകണം. കായികതാരങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അവസരം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ പിന്നെ തിരികെ ലഭിക്കില്ല.

അസോസിയേഷനിലെ തര്‍ക്കം മൂലം ഒരു കായികതാരത്തിനും അവസരം നഷ്ടമാകരുത്. കളത്തിനു പുറത്താണ് മത്സരം. കായിക താരങ്ങൾ അസോസിയേഷനുകള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നില്‍ അഭയാര്‍ഥികളായി നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ കായിക താരങ്ങളെ മറ്റ് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു.

കായികതാരങ്ങൾക്ക് അര്‍ഹിക്കുന്ന അംഗീകാരം ലഭിക്കുന്നില്ല. എല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും ജോലി നല്‍കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരിന് കഴിയില്ല. നയപരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും മന്ത്രി ജനീഷ് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു. കായിക അസോസിയേഷനുകളുടെ യോഗത്തിൽ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു മന്ത്രി.
