**തിരുവനന്തപുരം: **വൈദ്യുതി പ്രതിസന്ധി പെട്ടെന്നുണ്ടായതല്ലെന്ന് മന്ത്രി സണ്ണി ജോസഫ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. രാജ്യത്താകെ പ്രതിസന്ധിയുണ്ടെന്നും, മഴ കുറഞ്ഞതോടെ ഉത്പാദനം കുറഞ്ഞതായും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. വൈദ്യുതിയുടെ ഉപഭോഗം കൂടുന്നത് പ്രതിസന്ധിയാണെന്നും പല വൈദ്യുത പദ്ധതികളും പൂർത്തീകരിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലെന്നും മന്ത്രി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

പലയിടത്തും ഇന്നലെ രാത്രി രണ്ടിലധികം തവണയാണ് വൈദ്യുതി വിച്ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്. വൈകുന്നേരം 6 മണി മുതൽ 12 മണി വരെയുള്ള പീക്ക് സമയങ്ങളിൽ നിയന്ത്രണം ആവശ്യമായി വന്നേക്കാമെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഇബി അറിയിക്കുന്നു. പവർ എക്സ്ചേഞ്ച് വഴിയുള്ള വൈദ്യുതി ലഭ്യതയിലും കുറവുണ്ടെന്ന് കെഎസ്ഇബി പറയുന്നു.
