കണ്ണൂർ: കണ്ണൂരിൽ വീണാ ജോർജിനെ കെഎസ് യു പ്രവർത്തകർ ആക്രമിച്ചെന്ന കേസിൽ പ്രത്യേക അന്വേഷണ സംഘത്തെ രൂപീകരിച്ച് ഉത്തരവിറങ്ങി. കെഎപി നാലാം ബറ്റാലിയൻ കമാൻഡൻറ് യു. പ്രേമനും കണ്ണൂർ എസിപി എം.പി. ആസാദിന്‍റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സംഘത്തിൽ 6 അംഗങ്ങൾ കൂടിയുണ്ട്.

റെയിൽവേ ഇൻസ്പെക്ടര്‍ ജി. എസ്. സജിയാണ് അന്വേഷണ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ. മൂന്ന് എസ്ഐമാരും രണ്ട് എഎസ്ഐമാരും സംഘത്തിലുണ്ട്. അന്വേഷണ സംഘം ഉടൻ യോഗം ചേരും.

ഫെബ്രുവരി 25നായിരുന്നു കണ്ണൂർ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ വച്ച് വീണാ ജോർജിനെ കെഎസ് യു പ്രവർത്തകർ കരിങ്കൊടി കാണിച്ചത്.

മാരകായുധങ്ങളുമായെത്തി മന്ത്രിയെ വധിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെന്ന ഗൺമാന്‍റെ പരാതിയിൽ കെഎസ് യു കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലാ പ്രസിഡന്‍റ് എംസി അതുൽ ഉൾപ്പെടെ 5 പേർക്കെതിരെ വധശ്രമം ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള വകുപ്പും ചുമത്തിയിരുന്നു.
