മുഴപ്പിലങ്ങാട് മഠത്തിന് സമീപം ദേശീയപാത മുറിച്ച് കടക്കവെ വാഹനമിടിച്ച് ഗുരുതര പരിക്കേറ്റു കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെ വ്യാഴാഴ്‌ച പുലർച്ചെയാണ് അന്ത്യം.

കഴിഞ്ഞ 18ന് രാത്രി കണ്ണൂരിൽനിന്നു ബസ്സിറങ്ങി വീട്ടിലേക്ക് പോകാൻ പാത മുറിച്ചു കടക്കവെയാണ് വാഹനമിടിച്ചത്. റോഡിലേക്ക് തെറിച്ച് വീണ ടി.കെ.ഡിയെ നാട്ടുകാർ ചേർന്ന് തലശ്ശേരി സഹകരണ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ എത്തിച്ച ശേഷം പരിക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായതിനാൽ കൂടുതൽ ചികിത്സക്കായി അന്ന് തന്നെ കോഴിക്കോട് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു.
